RF PAO 68 is widely marketed and used as a universal aftermarket compressor oil for mobile air conditioning (A/C) systems, particularly those using R134a refrigerant.

RF PAO 68 does not absorb moisture from the ambient air. This is a significant advantage as it prevents moisture-related issues like component icing or acid formation, and it allows for much longer storage life after a container is opened.
